A LESSON FROM TREES
“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.” –Alice Walker
No tree is exactly the same. Close your eyes and imagine walking in a forest. Visualize assorted trees such as weeping willows, Spanish mosses, cypress, oak, birch, cedars and even some fruits. Notice that every three is uniquely different in its own way. Some of the trees may be tall, short, twisted, uneven, bent and smooth. No tree is exactly the same. In as sense, should be the same way as the trees. We should chill and relax as we embrace our uniqueness and enjoy just being who we are.
What a boring world it would be if all of the trees looked and functioned in the same way. What an equally boring world it would be if we all looked and acted the same! The “wow” factor would be gone. So be happy with who you are! Embrace your uniqueness like the trees.
