She created WINGS Belleza, a mentoring organization for girls in 2007 and is the founder of BE U Girls Conferences.

Her message of true inner beauty, self-worth, vision and personal power comes from her own life lessons that became the foundation and core philosophy of her business which is based on love, compassion, and a deep commitment.  She is committed to continually helping to build a generation of positive, intelligent young girls to like themselves, to know they are special, and to know the purpose and destiny for their lives.

After being introduced to the issue of human trafficking in Baltimore, Maryland, combating the issue became a passion for Vernee' as well. She immediately began hosting events in anti-human trafficking efforts focusing on raising awareness and outreach support. She firmly believes God allows periods of influence and resource in our lives with the expectation that we will bless others, especially the less fortunate.

It is her heart’s desire to please God and be a blessing in the lives of all she encounters. She has spoken at conferences, churches and schools, and recently has been invited as a radio guest on 94.3 Splash Radio NJ. She has authored articles in regional newsletters and international magazines, and is working on  her manuscript, “The Original Beauty Designer, A Guide for the Personal Development for Girls”. Vernee' is the youngest of five siblings and holds a MS and MBA degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and a BS degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
